Exhibition Degree Show achieved a First Class Honours
Fine Art practice focussed upon the timeliness and ever-changing body, investigating intimacy and capturing bodily identity as a snapshot in time on individual & romantic thesis. Celebrating minority bodies via mixed media; clay sculpture, acrylic painting, video and audio. Exploring privacy, the personal space, and the choice of acquaintance with an individual's story, and identity joy.
Art history study homed in on: Occulture; gender freedom as magick thesis essay, thesis essay upon Politics of the aggression of the bodily identity & face, thesis essay upon the queer political & toxic structure of masculinity & feminity within technoscience.
Throughout my degree, the link of practice & theory developed each side forward to unravel contemporary and modern socialist theory upon political aggression against body and individualism. This creates a foundation that actively rewrites contemporary intimacy and individualism theory to something more, and something joyous within it's activism.
